Chiyaan Vikram contributes 30 lakhs to CM Public Relief fund

The second wave of COVID-19 pandemic is deadly and is costing the lives and livelihood of several people. Several Kollywood personalities have come forward and have been donating money to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief fund to help the government amp up the facilities to combat the pandemic. Several stars like Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, Suriya, Karthi and Sivakumar, Jayam Ravi, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Sivakarthikeyan, Shankar, Vetri Maaran and AR Murugadoss had contributed money to the fund.
Most recently, Chiyaan Vikram contributed to the CM fund. He made an online contribution of Rs 30 lakhs to the TN Chief Minister's relief fund to help the state government battle the deadly COVID second wave.
On the work front, Vikram has four films in the pipeline - Cobra with R Ajay Gnanamuthu, Chiyaan 60 with Karthik Subbaraj, in which his son Dhruv will also star in and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyan Selvan, in which Vikram is touted to play the role of Aditya Karikalan. Vikram also has the long-pending film Dhruva Natchathiram with Gautham Vasudev Menon.
