Christopher Nolan, who has made films like Dunkirk, Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight recently met Ulaganayagan
Kamal Haasan in Mumbai. Kamal Haasan was one of the first actors to meet the Hollywood director and he took to his micro-blogging page to share a picture of the meeting. His post read, “Met Mr.Christopher Nolan. Apologized for seeing Dunkirk in the digital format and in return am sending Hey Ram in digital format for him to see. Was surprised to know he had seen Paapanaasam. ��”
The ace director is in the country on a three-day visit along with his wife Emma Thomas. Nolan will be part of a meeting of the importance of celluloid in the digital era and film preservation and restoration. Nolan has been invited by filmmaker and archivist
Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, the founder of Film Heritage Foundation.
Other popular names at the seminar of filmmaking in celluloid are
Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh khan, Shyam Benegal, Anurag Kashyap and Farhan Akhtar. There is a special screening of Nolan’s masterpieces Interstellar and Dunkirk.
