may have come to an end, but the association of two of its hot favourite contestants – Ashwin and Pugazh – continues. Yes, the two have signed a film together, which will be produced by

Trident Arts

. While Ashwin will be playing the lead, Pugazh will provide comic relief.

Announcing the news, Ashwin, in a video, said, “I have harboured a dream for a very long time and have been waiting for it to come true. The dream was to play the hero in a film. After the show, everyone had been asking what I’m going to do next. It’s time to answer it. Today, I signed a film, which will be directed by Hari Haran. It’s a very good script, a feel-good film. Not just that, the movie will also feature someone you all like, someone I really like… Pugazh.”

On cue, Pugazh came into the frame running, jumped on Ashwin, and continued, “I’m very, very happy. Machan is the hero. So, vera level happy. In Cooku With Comali, you’ve seen us do comedy. Now, we are hero-comedian; so imagine the level of humour we’ll treat you with. I request the audience to shower us with the same amount of love even now.”

Well, we sure can’t wait to see them on the big screen!
