'Coolie' OTT release locked; Rajinikanth's film prefers 8 week OTT window, audio launch nears

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film 'Coolie' has already garnered a lot of attention, both domestically and internationally, due to the presence of superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. It is also said that the deal for the OTT rights has been finalized with Amazon Prime Video. Rajinikanth's character, Deva, uses a strategy of using antique gold watches to reunite his old gang. But, unexpectedly, Deva's old empire spirals out of control and begins to grow in a new direction.Rajinikanth starrer is scheduled to release on August 14, and the pan-Indian drama also has Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Bashir, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan among others in key roles with Aamir Khan in a cameo role. Anirudh Ravichander takes care of the film's music, and the grand audio launch of the film is scheduled to happen in the first week of August. Meanwhile. Lokesh's previous outing was Vijay's 'Leo'.
