'Coolie': Shruti Haasan recalls fond memories on sets; shares BTS pics
Actress Shruti Haasan recently played a key character Preethi Rajasekar in the latest released Rajinikanth starrer 'Coolie'. Recently, she has opened up about her experience of working on the film. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Shruti shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of the film and the memories she made during the shoot.
In the photos, Shruti can be seen enjoying candid moments with her co-actor Soubin Shahir, music director Anirudh Ravichander, and other members of the crew. The actress, who essayed the role of Preethi Rajasekar, seemed to be reliving the journey she had on the sets.
Sharing her thoughts in the caption, she wrote: "Preethi's diary. 'Coolie' was such a fun experience making some wonderful friends and memories and making a movie I loved being a part of!!! Thank you all for the love and appreciation as always – it means the world to me."
Shruti's role in 'Coolie' placed her alongside some of the biggest names in Indian cinema. The film featured superstar Rajinikanth, Telugu icon Nagarjuna Akkineni, Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir, and even a cameo by Bollywood legend Aamir Khan. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, 'Coolie' tells the gripping story of a former coolie union leader who begins investigating his friend's mysterious death, which eventually unravels a large-scale crime syndicate. The film marked Rajinikanth's 171st film.
The action entertainer witnessed a steady run over the third weekend, collecting Rs 3 crore on its 18th day (Sunday), as per early estimates. With this, the film's total collection now stands at an impressive Rs 279 crore.
