'Couple Friendly' has completed six days at the box office and crossed the Rs 4 crore mark. The film which is led by Manasa Varanasi and Santosh Sobhan, earned an estimated Rs 4.86 crore India net in its first week.According to data from Sacnilk, the film held reasonably well through weekdays even as collections dipped slightly on Wednesday and Thursday.

Day-wise breakdown

Day 5 (Wednesday) collections stood at Rs 63 lakhs with Rs 8 lakhs from Tamil and Rs 55 lakhs from Telugu versions—marking a 5.97% drop from Day 4.Day 6 (Thursday) recorded Rs 61 lakhs, again Rs 8 lakhs from Tamil and Rs 53 lakhs from Telugu. By the end of Day 6 the film’s Week 1 total reached Rs 4.86 crore with Tamil contributing Rs 48 lakhs and Telugu contributing Rs 4.38 crore.The film will likely closing its first week near the Rs 5 crore mark.

A soft romance turns emotional

Directed by Ashwin Chandrasekar the film stars Yogi Babu, Rajeev Kanakala, and Livingston in important roles. The story follows Shiva, an interior designer from Nellore who reaches Chennai with big dreams. But his plans collapse, forcing him to work as a bike-taxi driver. His life changes when he meets Mithra, an IT graduate searching desperately for a job.

However, the tone shifts dramatically in the second half.
