Deekay to reveal the title of his film with Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Janani and Raiza Wilson

We had earlier reported that Deekay has roped in four of the biggest names in the south film industry – Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Janani and Raiza Wilson – for a horror film. Now, the director has announced that he’d be revealing the title of the film and also launching its first-look poster tomorrow.

Taking to his social media handle, Deekay wrote, “Super happy to bring the #FirstLook of my upcoming film featuring 4 gifted heroines to you all tomorrow! Get ready for an exciting entertainer from #Deekay! #DeekaysNext @MsKajalAggarwal @ReginaCassandra @KalaiActor @jananihere (sic).”

Speaking to us earlier this year, Deekay had said, “It’s a horror film, but audiences will get to see different kinds of horror. Some horror films have an emotional angle, some are spoofs and some are comedy. Like, my

is more like a grandma’s tale-meets-horror. But this one will be a jugalbandi of sorts. This film is not an anthology; it’s one story with interesting elements. The four of them play very different, unique characters. In fact, there’s a fifth heroine – Noyrika from Iran. She’s settled in Mumbai now and has done quite a few ad films and is getting into the web series space. This will be her Kollywood debut.”

Talking about the characters they play, Deekay had said, “Kajal’s character has a superpower, but she won’t realise it. Regina’s character is a spitting image of Kajal’s. Raiza’s character has karu nakku – whatever she says, comes true. The character that Janani plays has a fetish – there are some people who have this thing for matching clothes or a craze for some fruit or eatables. This is something like that, but a little unique. And Noyirka’s character is literally out of the world, pun intended.”
