Tamil star Dhanush will be seen in the upcoming film, ‘Kara’ directed by Vignesh Raja. Recently, the makers announced that the movie has completed its CBFC formalities.
CBFC clears ‘Kara’ with U/A certificate
The makers took to to their X (formerly Twitter) handle to share the update that the Central Board of Film Certification has cleared the film for release with a U/A certificate. They production house wrote, “#KaraGetsUA See you at the #KaraPreReleaseEvent tomorrow. #KaraFromApril30 Directed by @vigneshraja89. Produced by @IshariKGanesh.A @gvprakash musical.”
The makers had earlier shared a poster. It showed Dhanush in a strong look. The poster said, "Sometimes, staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive." Another still showed him speaking from an STD booth. The movie will release worldwide on April 30. The pre-release event has also been planned. Fans are excited to see Dhanush on the big screen again.

Director Vignesh Raja had earlier said, "D54 is Kara. An emotionally rooted suspense thriller. We are coming this summer." The film was first called D54. Now it has a proper title. The story is written by Vignesh Raja and Alfred Prakash. They have worked together earlier on the film ‘Por Thozhil’ that was loved by the audiences. The writers believe working together helps them test ideas and make the story better.
