Osaka Tamil International Film Festival
in
Japan
. The movie has also been nominated for the Tamil Best Feature Film of The Year 2019.
It was only recently revealed that Dhanush’s Asuran will be screened at Indian Panaroma section of International Film Festival of India and at the Golden Globes Awards as well.
The film directed by Vetri Maaran had Manju Warrier, Pasupathy, Prakash Raj, Teejay Arunasalam, Ammu Abhirami, Ken Karunas playing important roles. GV Prakash composed music for the film. 'Asuran' is a thrilling revenge drama of an oppressed family and touches upon themes like class and caste divide and power politics. The film is based on Poomani's novel Vekkai and had Dhanush and Manju Warrier in the lead.
