will be a gangster drama. Dhanush has reportedly joined hands with 'Rocky' and 'Saani Kayidham' director Arun Matheswaran for his next. The upcoming film is reportedly a gangster drama set in the 1950s. Dhanush will be seen in a fresh look and the film work will begin in late 2022.

Dhanush will be next seen in 'Maaran', which is directed by Karthick Naren, and the film is ready for release. He has next signed in for a film with National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula, and the film is reported to be Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which will mark the actor's official Tollywood entry. Dhanush is nearing the finish line for 'Naane Varuven' with his brother Selvaraghavan, and the final leg of shooting will begin soon.


On the other hand, Arun Matheswaran’s debut directorial 'Rocky' starrer Vasanth Ravi is set to release on December 24, and the interesting trailer released recently has stirred up the expectations for the film.
