Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma got married to
actress Niranjani
Ahathian in Puducherry today. The movie, which was a hit, was also the debut movie of actress Niranjani. Earlier, filmmaker Thiru, Niranjani's sister Karthika's husband, had published the wedding invite of the couple on Twitter. Desingh's photo from the wedding in which he is showing the popular Baba sign of Rajini is already going viral.
Congratulations and wishes are pouring in on the social media for the newly married couple. A hardcore Rajini fan tweeted, "Congratulations Thalaivar Veriyan @desingh_dp Brother Happy married life . That Baba Pose in ManaMedai, Vera level neenga bro #Rajinikanth."
In an interview,
Desingh
had told us that the wedding will take place on 25 February in Puducherry and the function would be limited to friends and family. The couple is planning a celebration in Chennai for the film fraternity.
Desingh, whose first film was well-received, is expected to do a film with Rajinikanth, though there is no official confirmation on it. The news on this surfaced lat year, after an audio clip in which
Rajinikanth was heaping praise on the young director had gone viral. It is also said that
Sivakarthikeyan, too, liked his work and he also has an interest to join hands with Desingh.
Niranjani, daughter of director
Agathiyan, has worked as a costume designer for several hit films in Kollywood and Tollywood including Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Trisha Ilana Nayanthara, Kabali , Pencil and Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal.
