Cyclone Nivar is all set to make landfall between Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coast today (Wednesday) evening, preparations for the same is on full swing. While there has been steady rains since yesterday, there have been several tress uprooted across the city. One among them has apparently happened near
director Kannan
's residence and the tree has fallen over his car.
Luckily for the director, his car seems to have escaped without any damage. His latest film was actor Santhanam starrer 'Biskoth' hit the screens recently on November 14 for Diwali after the theatre opened after the lockdown due to the COVID-19 situation. The film directed by R Kannan and starring Santhanam and Tara Alisha in the leading roles opened to mixed reviews and is running in theatres.
The Tamil Nadu government has already declared a public holiday for everyone in the state and rain has begun pounding the state.
