Director Raju Murugan to produce a rural Tamil drama

Director Raju Murugan is currently working on the post-production of the film 'Japan' which stars Karthi in the lead role. Now, the director is collaborating with the production house SP Cinemas to produce a new Tamil film. The movie will be directed by debutant Ezhil Periyavede. The movie is touted to be a Tamil rural drama.

Director Rajumurugan shared a photo on Twitter and said that he is happy to collaborate with SP Cinemas on a new film.



On social media, the production house announced the crew of the film; however, the cast, plot, and title are yet to be revealed by the moviemakers. Moreover, the music for the yet-to-be-titled film will be composed by Sean Roldan. The cinematography of the film is done by Sridhar, the movie editing will be done by Sam RDx, and the crew of the film also includes the lyricist, Umadevi.

Meanwhile, Japan is set to release in theaters this year for Diwali, and the movie portrays Karthi in dual roles. Actress Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead in the movie.
