On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Tamil film ‘Neerparavai’ that featured Vishnu Vishal and Sunainaa, director Seenu Ramasamy has announced the film’s sequel. Taking to social media the director thanked the audience and his colleagues in the film industry for all the love they showed for the film. His tweet loosely translates to “#Neerparavai part two starts. #Neerparavai in their hearts for decades. For people who allowed it to nest in, thanks to all my art lovers.”
It is yet to be announced if the sequel of the film will have the same cast or if there will be a change in the actors and the story sequence. ‘Neerparavai’ which was released in 2012 was a romantic drama. Though the film did not become a big blockbuster hit, it was a commercial success.
On the professional front, Seenu Ramasamy last directed the film ‘Maamanithan’ featuring Vijay Sethupathi which received many accolades and praises both nationally and internationally. The director’s long-delayed film starring Vishnu Vishal and Vijay Sethupathi is all set to release in theatres soon as well. He also has another project in the pipeline titled ‘Idimuzhakkam’ starring GV Prakash.
