has served as a member of the Madras Legislative Council during colonial rule. Seenu Ramasamy has decided to do his life story as a film to bring out the unknown facts about the Mullaperiyar dam and how it was built.

People of Theni, Dindigul, Madurai,

Sivagangai

, and Ramanathapuram districts in Tamil Nadu, have been getting water for agriculture through the Mullaperiyar Dam, and it will be an interesting film to see if the National Award-winning director makes a film on it in detail. It is noteworthy that John Pennycuick built the dam with his own money with the help of public works engineers and secretaries and as a result, he is still revered by the people of those areas.
