Sree, who had directed the 2014 crime thriller Damaal Dumeel, is playing the lead role along with Angana Arya and Avinash in director Ghiththa Mohhan’s debut film Theedhum Soodhum. Sree, Shankar’s former assistant, has also produced this film, and informs that the storyline revolves around how the love we choose will decide our future.
“In the story, Shiva is deeply in love with Jessie, but their love is separated by Jessie’s father, Lawrence. To reunite with Jessie, Shiva collaborates with the criminal Umar, putting Jessie’s life at risk. Umar comes up with a plan involving Shiva to extort money. How these three get caught in another person’s plan leads to a thrilling climax,” he says.
The cast also features Sreenivasan, Krupa, and Baby Takshika, among others. The cinematography of the film is done by Paranthagan, and the music is scored by Pranav Giridharan.
