Director Venkat Prabhu's upcoming film 'Party' gets a U/A certificate

' the sequel to the 2007 sleeper hit and cult 'Chennai 28'. Although the film received mixed reviews from the audience, the movie didn't go well compared to its previous iteration.


Now Venkat Prabhu and his team are all set to rock Kollywood with his upcoming film 'Party'. The film is also being dubbed in Telugu, with the same title. Premji Amaran has composed music for the film and the songs have been climbing up the charts since the makers of the film have released the lyrical videos of the songs.

A recent update is that 'Party' has been certified with U/A by the censor board. Venkat Prabhu took to his Twitter space to confirm the same.


The film has an ensemble cast of Chandran, Shiva, Jai, Shaam, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Jayaram, Suresh, Sampath Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Sanchita Shetty and Nivetha Pethuraj. Produced by T Siva under Amma Creations, the film is in its post-production stage and will be released soon.
