Directors Vasanthabalan, Chimbudevan, and Arivazhagan to co-direct Shankar's 'Indian 2'

Director Shankar is one of the successful directors in the South, and he is an inspiration for many aspiring filmmakers. Popular Tamil directors like Atlee, Vasanthabalan, Chimbudevan, and Arivazhagan have been former associates of Shankar, and he produced several talents in the cinema industry. Now, the latest report is that Shankar's former assistant directors-turned-directors are to join 'Indian 2'. Shankar is currently busy working simultaneously for 'Indian 2' and 'RC 15', and he travels between locations for the respective films. So, the expert director recalls three of his former associates Vasanthabalan, Chimbudevan, and Arivazhagan to help him in directing 'Indian 2'.

Vasanthabalan, Chimbudevan, and Arivazhagan will be co-directing 'Indian 2' along with Shankar, and the trio will be joining the team from the next schedule. The next schedule of 'Indian 2' is to commence soon in Chennai, while Kamal Haasan, who missed out on the last schedule, will be resuming the work for the film. Kamal Haasan will be sporting multiple looks for the film, and he took advice from experts for his makeover in the film. The filming of 'Indian 2' will be happening in a film city in Chennai, and the team has more than 40% of the portions left to shoot.

'Indian 2' also features Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bobby Simha among others. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the film, and the film is planned to release in theatres in the Summer of 2023.
