Divya debuts with a romcom

Debutante actress Divya Bhandari is pining all her hopes on Ooh La La La, in which she is paired opposite actor-director Jothi Krishna (of Kedi and Enakku 20 Unakku 18 fame).
���The film is a romcom, and Jothi Krishna and I play characters that are poles apart. While I play Preethi, a girl who works part-time to help her father financially, and is totally focussed, Jothi plays Surya, who roams the city aimlessly.What happens when the two of them meet and decide to give their relationship a try forms the crux of the story,��� she says.
Divya reveals that Jothi spotted her at a get-together in Mumbai and asked her to audition for the lead. ���He liked my performance, and I was signed on immediately,��� she informs.
Ask the actress if she has signed on other films already, and she says, ���My well-wishers have asked me to wait until my film releases so that other producers and directors can gauge my acting abilities. But I���m sure that Jothi Krishna, who has introduced several leading ladies to the industry, wouldn���t have signed me on if I couldn���t act!���
