DOP Nataraj expresses his intent to join the Indian army

Cinematographer and actor Natty Nataraj is currently shooting for his film ‘Bakasuran’ along with Selvaraghavan which is directed by Mohan G. The ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ actor took to Twitter to express that he is ready to join the Indian army at any time if he gets the permission. His tweet read, “If I get permission from the army, I am ready to join it this minute, giving up everything else. Country is God."



It is not very clear as to why the actor made a statement out of the blue but it is speculated that his observation came in the wake of the protests that are happening all over the country because of the Agnipath scheme announced by the union government. The new scheme announced by the center is about the recruitment of the armed forces.

On the work front, Natty Nataraj apart from ‘Bakasuran’ has ‘Web’, ‘Infinity’, ‘Yuki’, ‘Kooraivu’ and a yet-to-be-titled film with director KP Dhanasekaran.
