'Emakku Thozhil Romance' producer lashes out at Ashok Selvan for ill-mannered nature

Ashok Selvan is one of the notable heroes in Tamil cinema, and he has been impressing fans with his story selection. Ashok Selvan will be next seen on big screens in 'Emakku Thozhil Romance' and the film's audio launch happened in Chennai on July 28. But Ashok Selvan failed to make his presence for the 'Emakku Thozhil Romance' audio launch, and he was mocked by the producer and chief guests at the event for his absence. 'Emakku Thozhlil Romance' producer Thirumalai lashed out at Ashok Selvan as the film got delayed due to the actor. Thirumalai expressed his grief as Ashok Selvan didn't cooperate with the team even though the producer paid him a salary of Rs 31 lakh. Thirumalai reminded Ashok Selvan about actors and actresses, who lost their place by disrespecting their producers and directors.

Thirumalai listed how much a producer pays for an actor while working for the film as they take care of the actor's every expense. Thirumalai further blamed Ashok Selvan since the actor didn't confirm his availability for the audio launch for the last 50 days and questioned the actor, why he couldn't spend 2 hours to promote the film. Thirumalai praised Rajinikanth, Vijay, and Dhanush as they are promoting their respective films rightly, and asked the producer council to take strict action to make the lead actors promote their films.

The reason for Ashok Selvan's disinterest or absence from the 'Emakku Thozhil Romance' audio launch is unknown, and we have to wait for the actor to answer questions raised over him.
