First look of 'Pattathu Arasan' revealed; film to be bankrolled by the makers of 'Ponniyin Selvan'

'Ponniyin Selvan 1' has transformed into one of the biggest hits in Tamil cinema, and the film emerged as the second Tamil film to gross over Rs 500 crores. Owing to the massive victory of 'Ponniyin Selvan', the makers of the historical drama have been next teaming up with several leading heroes that include Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Now, the latest update is that Atharvaa's next film titled 'Pattathu Arasan' is to be produced by 'Ponniyin Selvan' makers. After 'Chandi Veeran' in 2015, Atharvaa reunited with director Sargunam for his next, and the film has been titled 'Pattathu Arasan'. Reportedly to be a sports action drama, 'Pattathu Arasan' is set in a village backdrop, and the film has Ashika Ranganath playing the leading lady, with Rajkiran and Raadhika in crucial roles.

The makers have revealed the first look of 'Pattathu Arasan' in which Atharvaa is spotted doing a brave walk along with the senior actor Rajkiran. The shooting of the film has reached the final stage, and the film is set to hit the big screens soon. Ghibran is scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography and editing are handled by Loganathan and Raja respectively.

Atharvaa is also part of 'Address', 'Othaikku Oththa', and 'Nirangal Moondru', while the first film is delayed to release for a long time. The charming actor is set to have a back-to-back theatrical release to impress the fans.
