Grace Karunas sings Vaada Raasa for her son Ken
Grace Karunas says she has taken part in the most memorable shoot in her life with Vaada Raasa because her son Ken and his friend Eshwar have joined hands to come up with a song solely to provide me with a good comeback vehicle.
A hook step with veshti
Sandy says this song will be an entertaining dance number. "I have come up with a fun hook step, with the veshti, something that everyone can do," says the choreographer.
From the bedroom to a grand celebration
"A mom and son singing together is quite rare and we wanted to bring that trend back. I know Sandy anna from my childhood. A choreographer like him launching me is a great thing for me," says Ken. His friend and co-composer Eshwar says they never expected something that they composed in their bedroom to become such a huge video.
Director Venky recreates Kutty Pattas magic
"This is a pure folk number, so we wanted to shoot this in a village itself rather than put up a set of a village. I hope this will join the ranks of our previous videos, Kutty Pattas and Asku Maaro," hopes director of the music video, Venky.
Grace Karunas says the video feels like a cinema song
"The location, the dance movements and the grandness make this look like a cinema song. I'm confident this will have a huge reach like Seena Thaana and Dindigul Dindigul," says Grace Karunas.
Sandy is all praise for the dancers
"Ken has danced very well. I did not expect him to dance this well. Grace Karunas will be cute and bubbly. Preethi Sharma (in the pic), too, is cute and has danced very well," says Sandy.
