, ‘Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakha’ is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and it features Varun, Krishna Kulasekaran in lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by the playback singer Karthik.

The movie is about a bodyguard who protects a woman who comes to Chennai from

and Varun plays the role of the bodyguard as Joshua. The movie was earlier expected to be released in theatres in 2020, but it was delayed indefinitely due to the Covid pandemic.

The producer in the interview reportedly stated that the movie is completed and is ready for its release and that he is planning to release the movie directly on OTT. He added that the initial plans was to release the movie in theatres in February 2022, but because of the pandemic restriction in theatres, he wants to directly premiere the movie on OTT, reportedly.
