Vijay's 'GOAT' has achieved tremendous success at the Tamil Nadu box office, opening with record-breaking numbers. The film has dominated local theaters, with several sold-out shows during its first weekend. According to trade reports from Cinetrak, GOAT has become the highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu, and the film reportedly grossed close to Rs 218 crore in the home state. After earning over $1 million from the North American box office on day 1, Vijay's dual action drama held well, and it had a successful theatrical run despite new releases. The action entertainer received better attention, and it reportedly grossed around Rs 28 crore from Karnataka. With the achievement, 'The Greatest Of All Time' stands as the highest-grossing Tamil film in Karnataka, while Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' is chasing the mark.
