'GOAT' first single titled 'Whistle Podu' out! Yuvan Shankar Raja's musical sung by Vijay is just a blast

Vijay has joined forces with director Venkat Prabhu for 'GOAT' and to justify the title makers have been building a strong project. After a long wait, the makers of 'GOAT' have unveiled the first single track titled 'Whistle Podu', and the song is released as a treat to fans on the occasion of Tamil New Year. The party song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja has been sung by Vijay, and the union of the much-awaited duo has turned out to be a blasting one. Whistle Podu has lyrics penned by Madhan Karky, and the song hails the friendship.

'GOAT' aka 'The Greatest Of All Time' is reported to be a time travel, and the film will see Vijay in a dual role. Venkat Prabhu's directorial is reported to be inspired by the Hollywood film 'Looper', but the makers haven't confirmed the fact yet. The shooting of the upcoming film is happening in Russia, and the team has completed filming more than 80% of the film.

Alongside Vijay, 'GOAT' involves a huge star cast that includes Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Mohan, Vaibhav, and Premgi Amaren among others in pivotal roles. Siddharth Nuni handles the cinematography, and the film is slated to have a grand theatrical release on Sep 5 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
