​'Ghilli' - 2004

Prakash Raj had played the role of a ruthless factionalist leader Muthupandi in the 2004 film 'Ghilli', and he fought against actor Vijay in the film. Prakash Raj's role in the film is one of his most unforgettable performances and the dialogues 'Dhanalakshmi en Saami de' and 'Chellam' have got popular among fans. The action-thriller 'Ghilli' stars Vijay and Trisha in lead roles, while Prakash Raj played the role of a villain.

​'Vasool Raja MBBS' - 2004

In 'Vasool Raja MBBS', Prakash Raj had played the role of the female lead Sneha's father, who is also a dean of a Medical College. Kamal Haasan had played the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Hindi film 'Munnabhai MBBS'. Scenes of Prakash Raj battling with Kamal Haasan in the film make for a great watch, and both the stars gave outstanding performances. 'Vasool Raja MBBS' was a comedy-drama directed by Saran, while the dialogues of the film were written by Crazy Mohan.

'Anniyan' is an action-thriller film, which was written and directed by Shankar, and it starred Vikram in the lead role. Prakash Raj played the role of Prabhakar, an investigating police officer in the film. The actor gave an extraordinary performance and his investigation scene with Anniyan (Vikram) is still a favorite among many. Prakash Raj had bagged his third Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Villain of the year in this 2005 film. 'Anniyan' was released in Tamil first, and it was later dubbed into Telugu, Hindi and French languages.

The story of 'Abhiyum Naanum' is about the connection between a father (Prakash Raj) and a daughter (Trisha), and it travels from the childhood of Trisha to her wedding. The film, which was directed by Mohan Raja, was a remake of the Telugu film 'Bommarillu'.
