', and the film started rolling with a muhurat puja last week. Now, the surprising buzz doing rounds on the internet is that Samyuktha Menon has walked out from Dhanush's 'Vaathi'. Dhanush has been roping in trending actresses as his pairs for movies, by going with that trend Samyuktha Menon was roped in as a pair for him in 'Vaathi'. But the actress has walked out of the film due to some personal reasons after the initial photo shoot. However, a close associate to the 'Vaathi' team has confirmed the news as a rumor, and accordingly, she is very much part of the film.


The shooting of 'Vaathi' is planned to happen at a stretch post Pongal, and the team has begun the work with an initial photoshoot to finalize the look for lead stars Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon. According to the last photo of Dhanush from the 'Vaathi' set, the dynamic actor will be seen in a cool retro look. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual is expected to be set in the 1980s.
