The director of 'Maha' has revealed in his recent interview with an online portal that Hansika Motwani is the one who asked the makers to approach Simbu for this role. UR Jameel revealed that he was hesitant to offer the extended cameo as a pilot to Simbu but Hansika herself approached the

and convinced him to accept the role in 'Maha'. The director also said that Simbu's presence in the film has made the film bigger than they had originally planned.
