Sivakarthikeyan starrer 'Amaran' has been storming the box office, and the film based on the life story of the late Major Mukund Varadharajan, is winning the hearts of the audience. Not only that, Rajkumar Periyasamy's directorial 'Amaran' is also earning praise from cinema stars, and it's Rajinikanth, who praised the Sivakarthikeyan starrer foremost. Now, Rajkumar Periyasamy has shared moments from his meeting with Rajinikanth and the Superstar actor's praise for 'Amaran' in his YouTube chat with Spicy Chill. Rajinikanth saluted the bravery of Mukund Varadharajan and shared a video note congratulating the 'Amaran'. Mukund Varadharajan's wife Indu Rebecca Varghese still considers her husband to be alive, and lives through his memories. Indu said to Rajkumar Periyasamy that Mukund Varadharajan would be happy now on Rajinikanth's salute as he is an ardent fan of the Superstar actor. But Rajinikanth's praise made Indu tear up.


Sivakarthikeyan brought the role of late Indian soldier Mukund Varadharajan to life in his biopic, with Sai Pallavi portraying Mukund's wife, Indu Rebecca Varghese. Both delivered captivating performances that touched the audience's hearts, while GV Prakash Kumar’s powerful music added depth and strength to the film.


'Amaran' grossed Rs 160 crore worldwide at the end of day 6, and the film is to end the first week on a high note since it already emerged as the highest-grossing film of Sivakarthikeyan. 'Amaran' trails Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' and Vijay's 'GOAT' at the box office in the race for the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024.
