We all know that actress
Raashi Khanna has made an impressive debut in Tamil with Imaikkaa Nodigal. But not many know that she is a singer, too. The actress has sung for her Telugu and Malayalam films Jawaan, Balakrishnudu, Villain and Joru.
Ask her if she is a trained singer and she says, “I was a part of my school choir and used to participate in several singing competitions back then. However,I wasn’t able to concentrate on singing too much as my parents wanted me to focus on my studies. But I kept singing and loved learning new songs. After I joined the film industry,I used to sing between shots.It so happened that the team decided to make me sing in some of my films.”
She adds, “I have sung some songs in Telugu and Malayalam.And I want to sing in Tamil, too. I am not a trained singer, but I always sing from my heart.”
