'Idli Kadai' box office collection day 6 (Live): Dhanush starrer nears Rs 40 crore, strong word of mouth reviews drives rural drama

On the first Monday, 'Idli Kadii' collected just Rs. 0.55 crore till evening. This is considered a normal low after a festive weekend. However, the crowd of fans at major centres did not decrease, and the film is likely to peak during evening and night shows. Fans have been pouring in their support for the film on social media, with critics predicting that the film's word-of-mouth acclaim will continue to carry the film commercially for weeks to come.
