Ilaiyaraaja hits back at trolls with a song

Ilaiyaraaja, the legendary composer has landed in controversy due to his statement supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A few have demanded Ilaiyaraaja to take back his statement, and several social media trolls stirred up against the composer. Despite trolls, Ilaiyaraaja has motivated fans by singing a line from super hit Tamil song 'Sundari Kannal'. Ilaiyaraaja has sung the lines which reads, "Nan unnai neenga maaten neenginal thoongamaten, paduven unakagavae... Intha naal nall naal ena paadu enathan inum undu kooru..."


Ilaiyaraaja has opted to spread love against the hatred and the line he has chosen hints at love for fans. Meanwhile, fans are happy that Ilaiyaraaja has taken the controversy sportively, and answered in a cool way to end it. But while a few still continue their demand against Ilaiyaraaja, and ask the composer to get back his comments comparing PM Modi and Ambedkar.

Earlier, Ilaiyaraaja refused to take back his comments as he never asked fans to vote or not to vote for Modi, and the statement was completely his opinion.

On the work front, Ilaiyaraaja has several films getting ready for release. He has teamed up with his sons Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja for 'Maamanithan' to score music as a family.
