Me and my other half will see you in Singapore on 05/02/2020! (sic)” Kajal Aggarwal tweeted yesterday. Yes, the actress will be joining the league of Indian and foreign actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Mahesh Babu, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman to get her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore.“I got the news in March, and I was super happy. But of course, I kept quiet till they made the official announcement,”says an excited Kajal. “A month later, I gave my measurements and now, the wax statue will be unveiled in February next year.”Elaborating further, she adds, “I was shooting in Hyderabad when I came to know about this and I informed my parents and sister over the phone. I’ve been to Madame Tussauds in London when I was a kid, and I’m looking forward to visiting the Singapore one next year.” While the actress admits that it came as a pleasant surprise to her when she was informed that she’d be getting featured at Madame Tussauds, she is ‘grateful for the honour’. “To share the stage with some of the most brilliant people is truly an honour. It’s a happy feeling to know that you’ve made a mark,” she says. So, which avatars of hers do we get to see at the wax museum? “Well, I did choose how the statue was going to be standing,” she says, “But I can’t reveal much. All I can say is it took us a whole day to finalise things.”
