'Indian 2' to be Kamal Haasan's second longest film

Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' with director Shankar was revived a few weeks back, and the director has also successfully completed a short schedule in Chennai. The latest report suggests that 'Indian 2' is set to become Kamal Haasan's longest film. Popular writer Jeyamohan is assisting Shankar in building the script for 'Indian 2', and the duo has planned to have a run time for the film around 3 hours 10 minutes, which will be the longest for any Tamil released in recent years. Also, 'Indian 2' with a runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes will make it the second longest film of Kamal Haasan, after 'Hey Ram' (3 hours 12 minutes).

After missing out on the first schedule due to the US trip, Kamal Haasan will be joining the 'Indian 2' shoot in the next schedule, which is planned to happen from the third week of September. Kamal Haasan has prepared for his makeover for the elderly character in 'Indian 2', and it's going to be busy days ahead for the legendary actor. Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Bobby Simha also play pivotal roles, and they are also expected to be part of the next schedule. Ravi Varman has replaced Rathavelu as the cinematographer, while Anirudh Ravichander takes care of the music.
