Kavin made his acting debut in Kollywood with the movie 'Lift'. He then appeared in the movie 'Dada' which gave him immense fame. The new buzz that is doing the rounds states that the actor is said to work in a film that is to be directed by Mari Selvaraj.

Reportedly, Mari Selvaraj will be completing his film 'Kabbadi' with Dhruv Vikram by 2024 and is planning to work with Kavin on a film before moving on to his high project with Dhanush.

Meanwhile, Kavin is now working on his film 'Star' which is directed by Elan. The actor has also signed up for a new film with choreographer Sathish, which stars Preethi Asrani as the female lead. There is also a buzz that Kavin is set to work with Jason Vijay on his debut directorial project. And he is also in talks with director Sivabalan, an associate of director Nelson Dilipkumar.

In other news, Kavin recently married his long-time girlfriend Monika David.
