It's a schedule wrap for Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life'

Mani Ratnam reunited with actor Kamal Haasan for his next directorial titled 'Thug Life', and the film shooting is progressing firmly. Now, the latest update on the 'Thug Life' shooting is that the Pondicherry schedule of the film has been wrapped up. Mani Ratnam is heading well according to his plan, and 60% of the film's shooting has already been completed. A major action sequence involving Kamal Haasan was reportedly shot during the Pondicherry schedule, while a few pictures from the set went viral on social media earlier. In just 40 days, the 'Thug Life' shooting has passed the major phase, and the entire filming is expected to be wrapped up by August. The next schedule of the film will reportedly be happening in Chennai, and the team will be commencing it after a short break.

Reported to be a periodic gangster drama, 'Thug Life' will have Kamal Haasan playing a triple role, and the film has a strong star cast that includes Silambarasan, Trisha, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Abhirami, and several popular stars. AR Rahman takes care of the film, while the cinematography is handled by Ravi K. Chandran. 'Thug Life' is planned to hit the big screens at the end of 2024, and the film is on track according to the makers' plan.

Kamal Haasan is set to have three releases in 2024, and the actor will be next seen on big screens in the films 'Kalki 2898 AD' and 'Indian 2'.
