Actor Vijay offered heartfelt wishes to Class 12 students in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry preparing for public exams, urging them to face the tests with courage and confidence. Separately, reports say the delayed release of Jana Nayagan is impacting Kerala’s theatre business, with producers eyeing a June 2026 release window.
Vijay extended heartfelt wishes to students appearing for the Class 12 public examinations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The 'Jana Nayagan' star shared the message on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, urging students to face the board exams with courage and a calm mind.

Vijay motivates students

This translates to: "My heartfelt wishes to all my dear brothers and sisters in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry who are appearing for the Class 12 public examinations. All of you, who are going to build a prosperous society of tomorrow, face this examination without tension, without fear, and with courage. My advance wishes for you to excel in higher education as well! Good things will happen!"

'Jana Nayagan' release in question

Vijay, who has acted in 68 films, is expected to shift his focus from cinema to politics soon. The delay of his 69th film, Jana Nayagan, has even affected the exhibition sector in Kerala. According to K.
Vijaya Kumar, President of the Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala, the delay came at the “worst possible time”. He said the release was expected to revive the market after a long dry spell. A report shared by the Kerala Trends page stated, "The Vijay film #JanaNayagan, which was expected to bring in massive collections, didn’t release. Several highly anticipated Malayalam films ended up as major flops with poor box office returns. This trend is likely to continue until March 19."
On the other hand, there are several reports that state that the producers of H. Vinoth's directorial are eyeing June 2026 release. Nothing has been confirmed as of now. Vijay was last seen in 'GOAT' which was claimed to be the last movie of Vijay, but it's poor response made fans ask for a better farewell for the superstar. The film featured Vijay in a dual role.
