'Jana Nayagan' audio launch: Major highlights from the Malaysia event of Thalapathy Vijay's film

The long-awaited audio launch of 'Jana Nayagan' in Malaysia was magnificent, where fans, celebrities, and the media from across the globe graced the event. Veteran actor Nasser shared his admiration and aspiration to have a word with Thalapathy Vijay, not to create a buzz or to make news, as he is not a selfie person, but out of respect for him as an individual. Nasser recalled how Vijay’s efforts helped his son, who was bedridden, to stand up and added how he lent a crore rupee to the Nadigar Sangam when they sought his help and how he considers this loan a lifetime debt. Referring to Pokkiri as one of his favourite films, Nasser also urged Vijay to reconsider retiring from acting, assuring him that no criticism could ever affect him, as Vijay is truly “criticism-proof.”

Priyamani revealed, "Acting with Vijay was my wish, and I have expressed it in every interview of mine." She said she missed getting to dance with him, but she was really happy to act with him. Actor Narain described Vijay as a dream for everyone in cinema—a dance master’s, director’s, producer’s, and fan’s dream—and wished that all of Vijay’s personal dreams come true as he takes the next step in his life.

Sunil expressed amazement at the crowd, stating that in his 25 years in cinema, he had never seen an audience like this, joking that the energy felt like “one lakh decibels.” He asked the public to celebrate Pongal with 'Jana Nayagan' in theatres because he might not be able to meet everyone but at least fans could enjoy Pongal with him in the theatre.

Vinoth as a sweet experience and promised that the film would create a massive “sambavam” this Pongal. Reflecting on his career, he credited Vijay for trusting him with 'Kaththi' at age 21 and praised their longstanding collaboration that produced hit music from 'Kaththi' to 'Master', 'Beast', 'Leo', and now 'Jana Nayagan'. He later performed the unreleased track 'Raavana Mavan Da' live at the event.

Pooja Hegde has admired H Vinoth as a “genuine and simple” movie director, Anirudh as a brilliant music composer, and producer KVN as “cool” with “great vibes.” Pooja has hailed Vijay as the “most professional actor and the most down-to-earth star,” while she had a lot of fun with him on the set of 'Beast.'
