Jiiva was last seen in the recently released Sci-fi thriller 'Kee' directed by debutant Kalees. Jiiva will be next seen in 'Gorilla'. The movie had to struggle of more than a year to find its release. Don Sandy of 'Mahabalipuram' fame had directed the film and All In Pictures had produced the film.
The film which was scheduled to release on June 21, was later postponed to July 5th. In an unfortunate manner, the film will face one more push in its release date as the latest developments suggest that the film has been postponed.
The exact reason for this postponement is not known but it is reported that the film will not release on July 5th, as planned earlier. The new release date is yet to be announced by the makers soon.
The film will have a real chimpanzee as a part of the movie and will revolve around a heist and how the chimp and the lead actors are involved in it.
Shalini Pandey of 'Arjun Reddy' fame will be making her Tamil debut with 'Gorilla'. The film also stars
Yogi Babu, Radharavi, Satish and many others.
