Vetri began earlier in March and the latest is that the shooting has been wrapped up.
Interestingly, VJ Gopinath who helmed the original is directing the sequel too, and has apparently completed the shooting of the film in just 27 days. The film is expected to be ready for release by the end of the year. While Babu Tamizh had penned the screenplay of the first part, Gopinath himself has written the script of this film.
'Jiivi 2' starts right from the point where the first part ends and the sequel will retain all the key element. The makers have retained all the lead actors including Rohini and
Karunakaran for the sequel.
‘Jiivi’ was released in 2019 and it starred Vetri in the lead role along with Karunakaran. It had Praveen Kumar and Praveen KL on cinematography and editing respectively. The music for the film was done by KS Sundaramurthy. Now, the same technical crew is roped in for the sequel of the film and the expectation levels from the audience are really high.
