J Sathish Kumar, who has earlier bankrolled films like Thanga Meengal and Kuttram Kadithal, is currently working on his debut directorial venture. Titled as Fire, the film is said to be a thriller drama.
Revealing details about the project, JSK says, “Fire is a content driven film that’s inspired by a real-life incident. It talks about women in society and how they should be conscious as they are being trapped in various issues. I can’t reveal any details about the incident around which I have penned the plot as it might spoil the movie watching experience for the audience.”
He also added that it’s not the usual hero-heroine film. “Sakshi Agarwal, Gayathri Shan, and Rachitha play crucial roles and we have already completed the first schedule of the film. All three belong to different walks of life and have unique shades. Balaji Murugadoss plays one of the leads and he will be seen playing a boy-next-door character.”
