Reports from the Chiloka website say that the 'Thuppakki' actor's father, Vinay Aggarwal, is an entrepreneur involved in the textile business. Her mother, Suman Aggarwal, works as a confectioner and has also been involved in managing aspects of Kajal’s career. Kajal also has a younger sister, Nisha Aggarwal, who pursued a career in acting and appeared in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films.

The institution is located in Churchgate, Mumbai, and is also affiliated with the University of Mumbai.Her specialization focused on marketing and advertising and these two subjects closely connected with media and communication. This educational background might have given her valuable knowledge about branding, public communication, and media dynamics.

Early career plans before acting

During her college years, Kajal Aggarwal reportedly had plans to continue her studies further. She had expressed interest in pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at some point in her career.She also gained early professional exposure through an internship with a global beauty brand and the experience gave her insight into corporate work environments and marketing strategies.However, her entry into the film industry began relatively early when she made her acting debut in the Hindi film 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na'... in the year 2004.Kajal chose to focus on building a full-time career in cinema rather than pursuing further formal education.

In a 2025 conversation with Hindustan Times, Kajal Aggarwal recalled the joy and playfulness of her early years and credited her parents for creating many happy memories during that time.The 'Sikandar' star said, “I just remember having a super fun childhood - nurturing, full of play and my parents filling my cup with love and the best memories. I learnt all sorts of emotions and the most incredible memories, were made through play. This photo was clicked at home and I was about three years old in it but I have no recollection of the doll. I don’t think I was ever attached to any of my toys.”On the work front, Kajal Aggarwal was last seen in Salman Khan's action flick where she teamed up with the 'Thuppakki' director AR Murugadoss after a long gap.
