Kamal Haasan and Udhayanidhi Stalin extend support to film journalists

Recently nearly 40 journalists were found to be suffering from COVID-19 and are undergoing treatment. Now, actor Kamal Haasan has donated Rs 15,000 each to those 40 journalists affected by the pandemic. In the meantime, actor Udhayanidhi Stalin too donated Rs 3000 each to 60 journalists who have been struggling due to loss of jobs in the corona-induced lockdown period. It’s reported that if the situation prevails, Udhayanidhi is planning to extend the same support in the comings months, too.
Many actors and producers have also come to extend help to film journalists by providing them groceries and rice bags.
On the film front, after the release of Mysskin’s directorial Psycho, Udhayanidhi has been working on Angel and Kannai Nambathey.
Kamal Haasan on the other hand was shooting for Shankar’s

, till the crane mishap happened on the shooting set, and though he has committed Thalaivan Irukkiran, it’s not sure whether the actor will be acting in it or not. Meanwhile, there are also reports that the actor may join hands with Gautham Menon, again, to do a sequel to their Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. However, due to the lockdown, nothing is clear at this moment about the progress of the above films.
