Kamal Haasan's film with Lokesh Kanagaraj has got the same title as the actor's 1986 film 'Vikram', and the film is slated to release on June 3. The trailer of the film was launched recently, and it revealed Suriya's participation in the film. Now, in a recent interview, Kamal Haasan has said that Suriya's role will be the lead to the next part of 'Vikram'. Kamal Haasan has confirmed Suriya's cameo role in 'Vikram' as it's no more a rumor and shared that he will be appearing in the last minutes of the film. Also, Suriya's character will convert 'Vikram' into a franchise.

Kamal Haasan has unfolded that he had an idea for 1986 'Vikram', but it could not be used. So, he pitched the same to Lokesh Kanagaraj when the director wished to make a film with the title 'Vikram'. Lokesh Kanagaraj then developed the story, and it's made as a 'Vikram', which is ready for a multi-language release on June 3.

'Vikram' will be a full-fledged action drama, and we can see different types of weapons used in the film. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the action drama also has Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, and several others. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music, and his music makes the film look more powerful. 'Vikram' will be Kamal Haasan's first theatrical release in three years, and the expectation is high for the film.
