According to reports, Kamal Haasan will play the lead in the Tamil remake of 'Oppam'. Director turned actor Samuthirakani, who played the baddie in 'Oppam', hinted at it with a tweet that read, "Very happy & proud to be part of Oppam, super happy with the success!! Heard Ulaganayagan going to remake in.'

However, the Tamil superstar is yet to confirm or deny this news. He is currently recovering from his fracture and will resume work on 'Sabash Naidu' from November.
