Actor and National Award winner Charuhaasan, the elder brother of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, was hospitalised ahead of Diwali. The veteran actor is said to have undergone surgery at a private hospital in Chennai and is recovering well. Suhasini was seen taking care of her father Charuhasan during the hospitalization.
Actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam, daughter of Charuhaasan, shared a couple of photos and a video on her Instagram account, in which she was seen speaking to Charuhasan to share a message for his wife before going into surgery and also how strong he was mentally, before heading to the surgery. Sharing the pictures and a video, Suhasini wrote, "Midnight before Deepavali we had a fall. Our Deepavali was at emergency. But we are all geared up for surgery."
The sudden hospitalization of the 93-year-old actor had celebrities from the film fraternity and fans wishing him a speedy recovery. Among the celebrities were actors Laila, Rahman, Khushbu and Madhavan wishing him a quick recovery.
