Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for his film ‘Indian 2’ with director Shankar. Following this, the actor was supposed to work on his film with Mahesh Narayan which was touted to be the sequel of ‘Thevar Magan’. Kamal Haasan earlier stated that he was penning the story of the movie and that he will be shooting for the film at the end of this year.
According to reports now, the film is said to have been shelved and it is said that the decision came across after a mutual understanding between the actor and director. Mahesh Narayan had earlier worked with Kamal Haasan as an editor for ‘Vishwaroopam’ and ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and it was only after the release of the Malayalam film ‘Malik’, Kamal Haasan expressed a desire to work under Mahesh Narayan’s director.
Reportedly, the untitled film was said to be a continuation of ‘Thevar Magan’ and it has now been reportedly shelved due to the creative differences. On the work front, Kamal Haasan after wrapping ‘Indian 2’ will start the work for his film with Mani Ratnam which has been tentatively titled ‘KH 234’. He also has a few projects like 'Pa Ranjith', 'Vetrimaaran' and 'H Vinoth' in the pipeline.
