Vijayakanth, the veteran Tamil actor, passed away on December 28, and he left an irreplaceable place in the industry. To pay respect to the inspirational actor, Nadigar Sangam has arranged a memorial gathering to mourn his demise. Kamal Haasan recalled the respectable nature of Vijayakanth when he played a cameo role in the latter's film. Kamal Haasan then praised the bravery of Vijayakanth and said that the late actor was a god for every struggling cinema star. Kamal Haasan once again repeated that he always liked the righteous anger of Vijayakanth.

Vishal, the general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, praised the efforts of Vijayakanth, and he lauded the senior actor's cinema journey. Vishal was then assured to extend a helping hand to Vijayakanth's sons, Vijaya Prabhakaran and Shamuga Pandian, in every possible way he could do for them. He also expressed his interest in sharing the screen space with Shamuga Pandian.

Jayam Ravi shared his appreciation for the late actor Vijayakanth and recalled some fond memories with the actor. Jayam Ravi then requested that the Tamil Nadu government have a lesson about Vijayakanth for schoolchildren. Jayam Ravi praised the humanity of Vijayakanth as he was always a good human being rather than an actor and a politician, so he demanded the state government add a topic about Viayakanth to the school syllabus.

Mansoor Ali Khan, the popular Tamil actor, was one of the committee members when Vijayakanth was the head of the Nadigar Sangam, and he praised the late actor's effort to revive the association. Mansoor Ali Khan further added an idea for the current association to raise financial funds for the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building. Mansoor Ali Khan suggested the association members arrange a crowdfunding feast for all Nadigar Sangam members to accumulate some money from the wealthy ones.

Vijaya Prabhakaran revealed that two days before the demise of Vijayakanth, the late actor was listening to his film songs and enjoying them peacefully. It seems like he realized that he was at the end of his life. Vijaya Prabhakaran thanked Nadigar Sangam for remembering his father Vijayakanth through the biggest event, and he turned emotional as it was his first Nadigar Sangam event. Vijaya Prabhakaran then thanked everyone for their love for Vijayakanth and said that the actor's family is not angry with anyone.
