Karthi has begun shooting for his film with director Karthi
Bakkiyaraj Kannan on Remo fame. Touted to be an action-comedy, the film has Rashmika Mandanna making her
Kollywood
debut. The latest buzz about the film is that it has been titled '
Sultan
'.
It is said that the team has been discussing many titles for the film and Sultan is one of them. Interestingly, Sultan was earlier supposed to be given for an animated movie starring Superstar Rajinikanth.
The project is being bankrolled by SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures. Vivek-Merwin will be composing the music, while Sathyan Sooryan is handling the camera for this film.
Meanwhile, Karthi has taken a break from the shooting of the Bakkiyaraj Kannan film and joined the sets of Jeethu Joseph’s film which also has Jyotika and Sathyaraj in pivotal characters.
